Flag Stones & Floor Tiles |

| We regularly stock a number of yorkstone, gritstone and sandstone flags
ranging from the smooth thin ones (ideally suited for interior use) to
the large thick ones that have graced the floors of many mills and
factories in Derbyshire and Yorkshire. We also stock a huge range of new
sandstone and limestone paving in six different colours, as well as keeping
a large range of alternative reclaimed floorings such as stable blocks,

Mahogany Parque Flooring |

300 sq yards of mahogany parque flooring all reclaimed from the same large 1950s school hall. The flooring was sympathetically salvaged by hand and every care taken to minimise any damage.
The sizes of each block is 9" x 2 7/8". The thickness of these is a constant 7/8" with tounge and groove top bottom and sides.
The flooring has a sort of laquer on it (photo 1) but we have sanded some (photo 2) and then just lightly waxed some (photo 3 & 4) to show a finished example.

550 red quarries and 500 black quarries reclaimed from the same Victorian property. In good condition but would probably need to be cleaned before laying.
Total are approx 29sq yards/ 24m2 each measuring
6" x 6" x 1".

Stable Blocks |

360 reclaimed staff blue stable blocks plus a number of half blocks included free with the sale. The blocks measure 8 7/8" x 4 1/4" and are 2 7/8" thick. The total surface area these blocks could surface is roughly 10.5 sy yards (this is not including any joints).
All blocks are stamped EDWARD VII CORONATION 1902 and are all in excellent condition apart from a few scratches and chips, not bad considering they are 104 years old.
These were originally salvaged from a peak park stable block near Bakewell and would make a fabulous period feature for the garden.
These are shrinkwrapped, palleted and ready to go. |

Victorian Black & Red Pammets |

Approx 750 dark pammetts and 500 red pammets. They have been reclaimed from seperate jobs.
The dark pammetts are 9"x 9" and are 1 1/2" thick (enough for 46 sq yards/ 39 m2) - priced at £3 each = £48 sq yard.
The reds are possibly older they are 9" x 9" but the thickness varies from 1 3/8" - 1 3/4" thick .
The exact dimensions vary slightly (enough for 31.5 sq yards/ 27 m2) £2.50 each = £40 sq yard.

Yorkstone Paving Gravestones |

Approx 45 reclaimed gravestones. These have been sympathetically salvaged from a church demolition and a percentage of sale will be going to the rebuilding of a new modern church.
These are well weathered (some dated at 1830s) large sawn yorkstone slabs. Some are very ornate and could be reused in a variety of ways but they would make premium grade yorkstone paving at a thickness of between 2 1/2"- 4". Total approx 40m2.
We are happy to sell individually but would prefer to offer the entire lot together.

A mixed batch of reclaimed farmhouse quarry tiles. These are handmade and originate from an early Victorian farmhouse. All of these are reds/terracotta.
We have approx 200 7" x 7" thickness of 1" to 1 3/8" the exact size vary due to manufacturing process (enough for 7.5 sq yds).
We have around 60 7" x 7" that are slightly thicker 1 1/2"- 1 3/4" (enough for 2.25 sq yds).
We have 110 handmade 9" x 9" that are 1 3/8" - 1 3/4" thick, again the exact dimensions vary slightly (enough for 6.8 sq yds).
Also for sale 40 8" x "8 at 1 1/2" - 1 3/4" thick (approx 2sq yds).

90 sq yards of york stone paving, this is proper york stone not a grit or sandstone paver,
there are some large sizes in the batch some up to 6ft x 3ft
a decent thickness 3-4" with the odd one slightly thicker but really nice smooth surfaces, some have a feint parrellel punch, scored in the surface, a common occurance for large public
areas, to provide a little bit of grip to anyone walking on them- we see it more pronounced in stable (as in horses) buildings
will split but price below is for full pallets. |

Reclaimed Granite Cobbles |

| 40 tonne of reclaimed granite setts reclaimed from a victorian estate known as "Model Villiage" in derbyshire.
These are roughly the same sizes at 7x4 and 8x4 they are a uniform depth of around 5"
they are cleaned, free of mortar and are a mix of a grey granite and a blueish granite that mix well together.
They are currently bagged by the tonne but can be sold either by the square yard or by the tonne at a better rate. |
