Stone Window Cills & Heads |

| Because our location is in an area of varied geology we are able source a
diverse range of stone window cills and heads. We always keep good stocks in
Yorkshire sandstone, Derbyshire gritstone and limestones. We often demolish
large buildings and are able to source a large number of near matching cills
and heads. Using this type of building material in preference to using new
stone can be a great way to add real character to a period property.This
type of salvage is often used for making steps, gate posts and fireplace

Reclaimed Gritstone |

40 reclaimed gritstone heads and cills all sympathetically salvaged from the same Peak District mill.
Each cill is approx the same dimensions (11" x 6" or 10" x 5") all between 4ft and 5ft long.
The heads are similar proportions with some reaching up to 6ft in length. Some of the heads are sawn finished. All are in good condition and have weathered well.
These gritstone lengths can also be used as gateposts, fireplace lintels and steps.
We are prepared to split up the sets if needed. |

Reclaimed Magnesian Limestone |

8 matching reclaimed magnesian limestone window cills with matching heads. All from the same building in the Worksop/Mansfield area.
The cills are 4ft long and 10" deep, with a thickness of 6.5" chamfered to a 5.5" front face, opening between the stools is 39". All are in good condition.
The matching heads are also cut from magnesian limestone and we have 7 at 4ft and 1 at 3ft 6". All are in good condition. |

For sale 11 pairs of heads and cills cut from red sandstone salvaged from a north west mill. Most in excellent condition, some with slight damage caused during demolition. The heads are all in good condition and some cills are missing corners. Prepared to split.

12 very long matching reclaimed stone window cills,
all in excellent condition with well carved jambes/ shelves/ stools. The cills are all 8ft 6inch long carved from only one piece of stone. They are all 16 inch deep and between 6 1/2 - 6 3/4 inch thick. Cills of this size and quality are very rare. They
approximately 120 years old from an old mill in north Yorkshire.
Also available are 4x 5-6ft long 16 inch deep and 6 1/2inch thick cills from the same job. |
